- I would like to thank Daljit for taking me in without prejudice, or even doing a background check, when i needed a job desperately
- Susan Leong, for making my stint at AJ into a career which has seen me from relief to adjunct to a contract teacher
- OCM for advising me on making the switch and securing me a stable income with medical benefits which was esp timely last year when i amassed a slew of dental bills
- Soks for believing in my credentials to teach Lit just by hearsay and instinct, after which in 2009 my life transformed from mere minion to actual educator haha
- my dear colleagues, namely the ones who were warm and accepting of who and what I am, never once questioning my culture or 'lifestyle', hence making the work environment really comfy
- my dearest students, past and present who have made this such a rewarding career, from their artless insights to their sincere regard for what you are to them
- God, for always having my back. You've never left me for a moment, even when times i wanted you off my back. you had a plan for me since i started life anew, and in every step you've made me provisions which i'll never take for granted
- and this year Janey for appearing like a breath of fresh air, at a time when the rest of my day was suffocating in its tedious routines, when after 8hrs of work i felt like it was mere breathing in monotonous patterns, when you loved me freely and deeply, with nary a question or doubt. i needed that. and i need you.
